HISTORY/HOSTS
The ranch was built in 1930 as a private hunting lodge by Frigidaire executive, Winston Paul. It operated as an invitation-only guest ranch until 1951 when Edmund Bogert purchased the ranch. Edmund Bogert raised prize winning hay and hereford cattle on the ranch until 1975 when his daughter, Rozalys Bogert Smith, reopened the lodge as a guest ranch. The Bogert-Smith proprietorship continued until 2005 when the ranch was purchased by the Kapp-Singer family. The Kapps and Singers are outdoor enthusiasts well acquainted with the ranch and the Sawtooth Mountain range and are committed to maintaining the ranch's historic integrity as they upgrade facilities and amenities to enhance guests' overall experience. The ranch was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
